Is Nettle Leaf Nectar caffeine free? Yes. Nettle Leaf Nectar is a pure botanical infusion with no tea leaf in it, so there is no caffeine at all. Caffeine in tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant, which we do not use here, so you can drink this one late in the evening.
What is nettle leaf and what does it taste like? Nettle leaf is a green, mineral-rich herb that brews into a deep golden cup. The flavour is earthy and grassy, closer to a green vegetable broth than a floral tea, and it goes well with a slice of lemon if you want to lift it.
Why is this loose leaf instead of tea bags? Every single brew we sell is loose leaf, never bagged. Tea bags are usually filled with dust and fannings, the broken bits left over after processing, and many are sealed with plastic. Whole leaves keep their natural oils, so you can see exactly what you are drinking and brew it as strong as you like.

How do I brew Nettle Leaf Nectar? Use an infuser or a strainer, add hot water just off the boil, and let it steep for five to seven minutes. Nettle takes a little longer than a flower infusion to open up, so give it the full time. Strain and drink it hot, or chill it for the next day.
